• Some of the used contemporary carving tools from Henry Taylor coming through the Liberty Tool Co. have been observed to be not of the highest quality.  Opinions welcomed.  Perhaps these are of a lower production grade than their other products?

• A number of vendors sell Iyoroi edge tools, including Garrett Wade, but we have yet to locate specific contact information for this company.

• This Alameda, CA, company is a vendor for almost all major Japanese manufacturers of saws and edge tools.  They do not have a showroom location listed.

• America's foremost manufacturer of hand planes; Lie-Nielsen has an extensive selection of woodworking tools in their Rt. 1 showroom.  Catalogs are available upon request.  Many of the Stanley Tool Co.'s discontinued hand planes are manufactured by Lie-Nielsen, as well as several models that the Stanley Company had not yet dreamed of.
