The Davistown Museum eStore is devoted to raising funds for the operating expenses of the Davistown Museum, including the costs of its publications and the cataloging of its tools for ongoing exhibitions and proposed educational programs. 20% of all eStore sales are donated to the Museum. The museum eStore is composed of the following three components:

The Davistown Museum is sponsored in part by the Jonesport Wood Company, Inc. (Liberty Tool Company, Hulls Cove Tool Barn, and Captain Tinkham's Emporium). Great Wass Island Salvage Company (GWIS) is the eStore for the Jonesport Wood Company. The Davistown Museum is happy to announce that 20% of all the sales from GWIS will be donated to the museum to help with expenses.  30% of the proceeds of art sales from the Maine Artists Guild (MAG) galleries will also be donated to the Davistown Museum. We hope you will visit the three sites; your patronage will benefit the Davistown Museum, its exhibitions, and its educational programs.

Book Sale

In addition, the Liberty Tool Co. has made available to the museum the old Liberty Lending Library located on the second floor of Liberty Tool Co.; all books located in this space have been donated to the museum; 100% of the sales of all books marked "DTM" located in the old Lending Library or at any of the stores will be donated to the museum. None of these are on the eStore listings, but the museum welcomes both donations of additional books, tools, and art as well as the business of any customers visiting Liberty Tool or the other stores. When visiting Liberty Tool don't forget to look for books marked "DTM" on the second floor.

Blue and Orange Tag Sale

100% of the proceeds from the sale of any tool with an ORANGE TAG will be donated to The Davistown Museum. The Davistown Museum has recently received a donation of tools from the Fresno CA Metropolitan Museum of Art. The most important components of the donation have been added to the permanent collection of The Davistown Museum or the museum's new public school tool loan program. The remaining items are being sold to raise money to pay for the shipping and handling costs and for the publication of our Hand Tools in History series. If you buy a tool with an ORANGE TAG, there is no sales tax.

Also look for BLUE TAG merchandise in any of the stores. 100% of all blue tag sale items benefit the museum. Many thanks to the customers who have donated these items.
