Artist Biography
Donna Just is a very passionate photographer. Raised in Massachusetts, she attended the University of Massachusetts, graduating with a BS in Psychology. She attended graduate school for Social Work in Chapel Hill , North Carolina, where she resided for four years. Just has been living in Maine, raising her three children for the past fifteen years. Photography was always a side line, but she opened her own portrait studio seven years ago in Southwest Harbor, after attending many classes. She specializes in portraiture, weddings, documentary work and fine art photography. She studies at the New England Institute of Professional Photography on a yearly basis and has studied with many well known photographers. She has received numerous awards for her work and served on the board of the Maine Professional Photographers Association for the past six years as Secretary and is now the first vice president. Just is the Davistown Museum Summer 2005 show photographer, and many of her photographs can be found in the show's print publications, as well as on exhibit in the show.

Participating artists donate 30% of MAG on-site sales proceeds to benefit the Davistown Museum. When we sell work that is exhibitied on the MAG website but held elsewhwere, we solicit a 10% donation. If the artist or another gallery sells the artwork, no commission is solicited or requested. We hope the MAG website exposure will help sell more artwork from the artists' own studios or in galleries which show their work.
