Part 1 - How You Can Help:

• Become a Member of the Davistown Museum
• Become a Museum sponsor: Make an annual pledge
• Make a gift to our endowment fund
• Make a project-specific donation
• Purchase a museum publication:
• Amazon.com sells many of our publications
• Purchase our publications directly from the Museum
• Patronize the Liberty Tool Co. online store (20% of sales benefit the Museum)
• Donate tools and antiques to be sold at the Liberty Tool Co. online store or at our three retail stores
• Patronize our stores in Hulls Cove, Searsport, and Liberty: Sales of books, magazines, and records < $10 are donated directly to the Davistown Museum
• Buy art from the Maine Artists Guild Gallery (30% of sales donated to the Museum)
• Many bookstores in Maine also carry our publications: Maine State Museum in Augusta, Maine State Historical Society in Portland, Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, Lippincott Books in Bangor, Sherman’s Book Stores in Camden and Bar Harbor, and other vendors

• Ongoing Museum operations and staffing
• Art of the Edge Tool exhibition and catalogue publication
• Ongoing construction of our climate-controlled tool and artifact storage facility (1st floor Liberty facility)
• Tools Teach: Tool Loan Program for schools
• New Searsport History Information Visitors Center
• Museum publications: Hand Tools in History series, etc.
• Book & tool cataloguing (Elliot Sayward Memorial Library)
• New roof and new generator at the Liberty facility
• The Environmental History Department’s data collection on anthropogenic ecotoxins in maternal cord blood and breast milk

All members receive Tooling Around newsletters and invitations to special events.
